After a lot of troubleshooting, I figured out that it is related to the firmware, aka software. Final update: Tech just finished. There was a noise filter on the outside line. Tech fixed the issue, my line is clean now, all upstream channels connect, speeds are good, connection is stable, nothing at all in the event log. Perfect.
