Failed to synchronize cloud saves ubisoft
Hey, this is a troubleshooting post. My problem is that I cannot get ubisoft/uplay to get me connected online with Siege. I start the game in Steam, the uplay client opens up, it goes to synchronize saves with the cloud, then I get the 'failed to sync' message.Here's the URL for this Tweet. If the failed to synchronize cloud saves issue still persists, try enabling cloud save synchronization for supported games. To do this, launch the Uplay Client and select the Enable Cloud Save Synchronization option from the menu. This should resolve the issue and allow you to save your game files to the cloud.Make sure that your source path matches the location of your savegames folder and that the target folder exists. Then, open the script file and start mashing the "try again" button from the Ubisoft client. Eventually (for like after 5-10mins) you'll have some save files in the target folder you might be able to use.Our official Ubisoft Forums have now closed. Here was the info I got from Ubisoft: "The cloud servers check file information when syncing and will update to the latest used profile. This information is synced to the cloud upon closing your game. ... When I reinstalled Windows, I had issue with my Assasin Creed 3 save. I installed Ubisoft Connect and loaded up Watch Dogs 2. It pulled down my cloud save no problem. I didn't have to do anything. But it doesn't look saves from my Deck are going to the cloud. To do this ... you have to go to "New Game" on the system with the save. Then there is a menu to upload the save to the cloud.
