The Institute for Innovation and Global Engagement's 2023 Global Engagement Conference was a tremendous success thanks first and foremost to the dedicated work of our students across the University of Washington Tacoma and Seattle campuses, Pacific Lutheran University, University of Puget Sound, Western Washington University, and Pierce College. M ichael Pelletier has been named executive director of the University of Houston’s newly launched Institute for Global Engagement, an Aspire Initiative. The Institute will expand the University’s international profile and equip students with a more cosmopolitan mindset.
