Dec 12, 2022 · A dual degree program comprised of the Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) and Master of Social Work (MSW) is available to graduate students who choose to apply on campus. Students who are pursuing the JD and MSW dual degree can follow one of two full-time degree plan options: Advanced Standing and Regular Standing. Curriculum Plan. This dual degree program combines the MSW and JD and prepares students with the necessary social work skills, values and perspectives of social justice, strengths-based approaches, systems theory, clinical theories and community organizing to make them most effective when working with vulnerable and oppressed clients systems.
