Just returned from a week at the CHIP, I fish the WEST SIDE. My Third trip of the year, I'm finding the panfish CRAPPIE/BLUEGILL all to be on the small side and I don't target them for a fish fry since they are so small.William Heim. User since 7/8/14. Had a absolute blast with the crew from the Lake Geneva fishing club the smallmouth are grouping up and moving in we did our damage with the c-rig and fathead yesterday it was 16 to 21ft today it was 21 to 26ft we casted and sloooowly retrieved. The water temperature went down to 58.6 today.
