Wave size 2-3 feet with some occasional larger set waves . The surface conditions are very choppy. Our local buoy early wave height measurement is 6.2 feet at 6 seconds, down from yesterdays 8.2 feet at 7 seconds. Wednesday, August 9. Reporter: T. Strange. 7:05 am: The waves look small this morning. Light offshore WSW winds with semi-glassy to glassy surface conditions and with the wave size @ 1/2 a foot to 1 foot. On the the local buoy, the early wave height measurement is 2.3 feet at between 4 and 10 seconds changed from yesterdays 1.6 feet at 8 seconds.
